Laboratory Approval

Background

Through the Laboratory Approval Program (LAP) the South Coast AQMD approves independent laboratories or source testing firms that collect and analyze emission samples for reporting to the South Coast AQMD. Test facilities are approved on a method-by-method basis. Approval means that the test facility's management, personnel, policies, facilities, methods, equipment, documentation, quality assurance, and audit performance have been evaluated and found to meet South Coast AQMD criteria. However, approval is not an endorsement by the South Coast AQMD or a product certification.

More information about the program is available in the following documents:

Lists of Approved Laboratories

The following lists of approved laboratories are provided as a convenience for businesses to locate test firms that meet South Coast AQMD requirements. The lists provided below are updated on a monthly basis and do not reflect any changes that may occur between the monthly updates. These lists are not an endorsement by the South Coast AQMD of any particular laboratory.
